Wellion CALLA light blood glucose meter
Good legibility
Illuminated display and large digits
Application: Insert the Wellion CALLA blood glucose test strip into the test strip slot and the Wellion CALLA light meter will switch on automatically. Use a fresh lancet and the Wellion lancing device to obtain a drop of blood, which you then draw into the reaction zone at the tip of the test strip. The current blood glucose value is measured from this drop. After the countdown, the Wellion CALLA blood glucose meter displays the result on the illuminated display.
Functions and operation
The measurement result is shown on an illuminated display, which makes it easy to read even in poor lighting conditions. The device has a non-slip housing surface, which supports safe handling during measurement.
To help you better organise your measurement results over longer periods of time, there is a marking function that allows you to label measurements as "before eating" or "after eating". In addition, average values can be calculated for periods of 1, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 days. The Wellion CALLA light blood glucose meter can store up to 500 measurements with the date, time and optional markers.
The Wellion CALLA light blood glucose meter allows you to set 3 individually adjustable audible alarms to remind you to measure your blood glucose. You can also set individual blood glucose limits for hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia. Blood glucose levels that fall below or exceed these limits are marked on the display with "HYPO" or "HYPR". The factory default settings are a limit of 70 mg/dl for low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia) and a limit of 250 mg/dl for high blood sugar (hyperglycaemia). These can be changed individually at any time.
You can find detailed instructions on how to use the Wellion CALLA light blood glucose meter in the manual in our download area. You can find more information on self-monitoring of blood glucose here.
