Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BTE Blood Glucose Meter
Reducing the interference of other substances
Upload and track test results with Bluetooth
The GDH-FAD enzyme complex is less susceptible to interference from reducing substances (e.g. medicines) during blood glucose measurement. As the Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BTE measuring system can be used with most blood samples (capillary, venous or arterial whole blood), it is frequently used by healthcare professionals.
The Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BTE measuring system can be used for blood glucose measurement in newborns, as it covers a haematocrit range of 10–70%.
This blood glucose meter is used with Wellion NEWTON GDH-FAD BLOOD GLUCOSE TEST STRIPS. The device has a very high measurement accuracy with a MARD* of 4.7 (see the following study: System Accuracy and Interference Evaluation of a New Glucose Dehydrogenase-Based Blood Glucose Meter for Patient Self-Testing).
*MARD = Mean Absolute Relative Difference, a measure of the measurement accuracy of blood glucose meters.
With Bluetooth, users can upload test results to their mobile phone or computer and track changes in blood glucose levels over time.
This is where our Wellion SiDiary data management system comes in. Take advantage of the option to transfer data to the Wellion SiDiary app on your Android or iOS device (via Bluetooth) or to the Wellion SiDiary application on your PC (via cable).
