Complications from high blood pressure are avoidable
Indicates if you move during the measurement or if the cuff is too loose
High blood pressure does not immediately cause symptoms; many people feel very well for a long time. At the same time, headaches, tiredness, shortness of breath or dizziness can be an indication of high blood pressure. Headaches often occur in the morning and subside after an hour or two. However, these symptoms can also have other causes - regular blood pressure checks help to clarify the individual situation. High blood pressure often occurs in conjunction with other cardiovascular risk factors such as diabetes, obesity or a disorder of the fat metabolism (hyperlipidaemia).
High blood pressure can be successfully treated in co-operation between the doctor and the patient. The treatment can be personalised in a one-to-one consultation.
Wellion WAVE design blood pressure monitor
The illuminated display with the particularly large numbers on the Wellion WAVE design blood pressure monitor is easy to read. Your measurement result is not only displayed in numbers, but also classified in the coloured WHO blood pressure classification. A practical traffic light system helps to better assess the results:
If your result is in the normal range, the marker is in the green area.
The yellow area indicates a slightly deviating value that is either lower or slightly higher than normal (high-normal).
A blood pressure that is too high is always marked in the red area.
The Wellion WAVE design blood pressure monitor has two new functions to support a correct measurement result. It recognises
if you move during the measurement or the arm has been moved, both of which can lead to incorrect measurement results. Correct your posture and measure again.

Tips for monitoring blood pressure
Relax and try to remain still for 5 to 10 minutes before taking a measurement.
Sit down on a chair with backrest.
When taking control measurements, always measure on the arm with the higher blood pressure - usually the left arm (near the heart). Position your arm so that the cuff is at the same height as your heart.
Stand on the floor with both feet.
Stay calm during the measurement - talking, laughing or coughing can falsify the results.
After heavy physical exertion, sports, eating, smoking, alcohol consumption and bathing, wait at least 30 minutes before measuring your blood pressure, as these activities can affect your blood pressure.
Do not worry about an unusual result from a single measurement. Several measurements recorded over a long period of time will give you a better overview of your blood pressure.
The Wellion WAVE blood pressure monitors use the oscillometric method to determine blood pressure.
