Wellion MEDFINE plus PENNEEDLES
thin needle available in different lengths
Comfortable and easy to use - the Wellion MEDFINE plus PENNEEDLES have been specially developed to meet the requirements of a diabetes therapy. The thin, facet-cut needle, combined with a silicone coating to ensure effortless penetration, is designed to enhance injection comfort. The thin Wellion MEDFINE plus PENNEEDLES are available in different lengths (4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm) to meet the individual needs of people with diabetes.

Each pen needle features a safety seal with a specific colour corresponding to its needle length, allowing easy identification of different lengths (colour coding). During diabetes training, the correct needle length for each insulin-injecting person with diabetes is determined together with the medical staff in charge.

Use a new pen needle for each injection.
Using a new pen needle for each injection ensures the injection is as painless as possible. Pen needles have microfine tips which are damaged after one use. With each reuse, pen needles become more and more blunt and may develop small barbs. This makes further injections more painful and can even damage the tissue, leading for example to lipohypertrophy. The pen needle’s lubricating coating is worn away after the first use; reusing the needle can lead to unnecessary discomfort.
Pay attention to hygiene.
The pen needle is a sterile disposable product and should only be used once. Each injection leaves microscopic traces of blood and tissue on the pen needle. We therefore advise not to reuse the pen needle.
