Wellion CALLA blood glucose test strips
a reliable blood sugar value with only one drop of blood
Wellion CALLA blood glucose test strips are used with Wellion CALLA meters (Wellion CALLA Light and Wellion CALLA Mini) to measure blood glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood.
The test strips are suitable for self-testing at home and for use by trained professionals.
Handling
Step 1: Take a compatible test strip from the test strip container and close it immediately. Insert the test strip to turn on the meter. Wait until the test strip and the flashing blood drop symbols appear on the meter display.
Step 2: Hold the lancing device against the side of your fingertip and press the release button to perform the puncture.
Step 3: Carefully bring the test strip close to the drop of blood and touch it at a slight angle. The test strip works like a straw and automatically draws in the blood. Hold the test strip in the drop of blood until the meter beeps, indicating that enough blood has been drawn in.
Step 4: The display counts down and after 6 seconds your blood glucose level appears on the meter screen.
Step 5: The "before meal"/"after meal" indicators flash on the meter display. Select the appropriate indicator according to the time of your measurement by pressing the ▲ or ▼ buttons.
Then press the OK button to confirm your selection. If no mark is selected, the device saves the result without a mark.
Step 6: Remove the used test strip and dispose of it in a suitable waste container. The meter will switch off automatically.
